Residential building in Savognin in fair-faced concrete
In 2014, a three-floor residential building was built with exposed concrete and double-skin insulation in Savognin in the Canton of Graubünden. The facade, interior walls and ceiling soffits of the building, designed by Rainald Stark, all feature exposed concrete.
Since lightweight insulating concrete was used, the exposed concrete facade was formed using rustproof reinforcements in accordance with SIA guidance paper 2029 (2013).
The double-skinned construction was windproofed and earthquake-proofed by means of GRP Thermopins.
