DB Junction Birkhahnweg, Halle Saale
Drinking Water Pipeline, Low- and Medium-Voltage Cables
In Hall Saale, Deutsche Bahn is rerouting the railway tracks for a freight distribution and transportation center. As a result of these changes to the track system, it became necessary to relocate supply systems of the waterworks and public utilities of Halle. In 2016, Gruner GmbH carried out the planning and construction supervision for the new supply lines according to DB Directive 2012. The new 2 x DN 400 protective pipes with a length of approx. 40 m each were installed via a trenchless pipe jacking method using a pilot tube.
