Energy supply using underground thermal store
The engineers at Gruner Gruneko AG boast a long and successful track record in the design of geothermal facilities, involving both deep systems and downhole heat exchangers. A concept recently developed in partnership with Ayron Energy GmbH will, in future, allow new buildings to be heated and cooled by means of an underground thermal energy store. Coming projects will feature a "seasonal" underground thermal store to provide heating and cooling capacity. This will switch, as required, between serving as a heat source for the heat pump and as a heat sink for cooling mode operation.
