B-Flex Research greenhouses, Stein
Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, sanitary technology, building automation
August saw the transfer of the Bflex research greenhouses to Syngenta Crop Protection Münchwilen AG in Stein, Aargau.
The 33 fully air-conditioned greenhouse cubicles presented a special challenge in terms of building technology. Furthermore, special attention was paid to energy efficiency and sustainability when implementing the challenging climatic requirements. The PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)-based building automation system is a particular highlight. Meeting robust industry standards, this satisfies the stringent requirements in terms of process speed and system stability.
Gruner Gruneko AG was responsible for the crucial area of building services engineering. This included the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and sanitary technology as well as building automation, control and monitoring technology. Gruner Gruneko AG also successfully handled the spatial and technical coordination.
