Head of Department Embankments and Geotechnics
Activities & Responsibilities
- Lead, plan and develop the department, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and objectives.
- Manage department activities and oversee the financial monitoring of projects.
- Ensure quality and consistency of offers within the department’s area of expertise.
- Identify opportunities for development, innovation and improvement of department activities.
- Consolidate and strengthen the technical competencies of the department, particularly in the areas of underground works and geotechnics
Requirements profile
- Master Degreed in Geotechnical Engineering. PhD degree is highly appreciated.
- 15 years of proven experience in the field of Geotechnics / Rock Mechanics / Embankment design and construction.
- Excellent communication skills and natural leadership, with prior experience in design coordination and project management roles.
- Strong organizational skills and a high sense of responsibility.
- Fluency in both English and French is mandatory. Italian and / or German are considered a plus.
