The Gruner Ethics Charter is an expression of the way we as a planning and engineering company understand our responsibility. In addition to compliance with the legal system in all countries in which we work, we are committed to clear principles: Equal opportunities and diversity, a safe and healthy working environment, transparent communication and ethical conduct, to name but a few. Our challenge to ourselves, our managers and our employees is to implement and live these principles - better every day and from day to day.
As a part of society, we also take a direct approach. We have been supporting projects in mountain regions with our know-how for a long time. An example? Our Christmas present last year went to the Glarner family of mountain farmers who run a farm in Linthal, Canton Glarus. Here, apprentices of the Gruner family did a work assignment and put their theoretical knowledge into practice. This is one of our contributions to a better life and work.
We appreciate cultural diversity
Diversity plays an important role at Gruner: being active in over 30 European countries, with more than 1,000 employees from about 45 nations and almost 1/3 female and 2/3 male colleagues, opens up a diversity of characters, cultures and skills. They form the basis for our innovative strength, the solid and long-standing existence of Gruner and open up new perspectives.
We plan for society and have been contributing to a future worth living for over 150 years. We work with colleagues and are convinced that everyone shapes and characterizes our culture.
