Activities & Responsibilities
- Design of electro-mechanical and hydro-mechanical equipment for hydro-power plants and dams: turbines, valves, turbine governors, penstocks, gates, steel linings, trash racks, etc.
- Calculation of steel structures (gates, penstocks).
- Participation in design work on new HPPs and rehabilitation of existing ones.
- Instructions for technicians/modelers for preparation of mechanical drawings
- Preparation of technical specifications and tender documents for mechanical equipment.
- Site supervision during the equipment erection and commissioning.
- Participation in Factory Acceptance Tests.
What makes you special
- 5-years university degree or MSc in mechanical engineering
- Possession of professional license of Serbian Chamber of Engineers No 332 would be considered as an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical equipment. Experience in designing this equipment for hydropower plants would be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly, clear, and efficient way.
- Good verbal & written communication skills in English.
- Willingness and motivation to learn the new areas of expertise (software, standards, construction details, etc.).
- Able to travel abroad for short term missions.
