Cistern Spenglerpark
Collect rainwater and use it sensibly
As part of the comprehensive renovation of the Campus Bildung Gesundheit beider Basel, a cistern was planned and installed in the area surrounding Spenglerpark in Münchenstein. The cistern is used to collect rainwater and then to water the area around the Spenglerpark.
The Gruner specialists from Oberwil (BL) carried out the hydraulic analysis for the cistern volume, compared different variants and obtained quotations from the manufacturers. Gruner also took on the construction management. The excavation pit had to be created in advance in a very confined space.
