Gruner is present at the ICOLD annual meeting in Marseille France
The 27th ICOLD Congress, the 90th ICOLD annual meeting and also of the Symposium organized by the French Committee (CFBR) are being held concurrently in Marseille France and Gruner Stucky Ltd, a leading engineering consulltancy in dam and hydropower engineering is present.

The programme started on the Friday the 27th of May and will continue until Friday the 3rd of June, our world renowned experts are participating in the technical committees on the following topics
- Dam design methods
- Dam safety
- Integrated operation of hydropower plants and reservoirs
- Flood estimation and dam safety
We look forward to discussing the future of the dam and hydropower sector including everything from dam design innovation to the effects of climate change .

Gruner merges Waidhas and Gruner Germany – new structure strengthens market presence
Basel / Hamburg, 1 January 2026 – In 2026, Gruner will merge Gruner Waidhas GmbH in Chemnitz and Gruner GmbH in Leipzig into Gruner Deutschland GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg. Four business units and new regional management in Western Switzerland
Gruner is adapting its organizational structure in western Switzerland and will form two new business units in the Infrastructure division on 1 January 2026. This move reflects the strong growth in French-speaking Switzerland. With four business units in French-speaking Switzerland in future, Gruner will be even closer to its customers, giving the geotechnical, water and environment business areas greater visibility and thus ensuring long-term development.
