Learning from the field: BIM methodology courses at Gruner

Gruner will be offering the "BIM Methodology Course - Foundation" from 2024. Customers and partners benefit from a training course with real-life examples and lots of interaction, which can be completed with an internationally recognized certificate.

Since summer 2022, Gruner has held the buildingSMART certification, which allows the company to train and certify interested parties as a training provider according to a recognized global learning framework. More than 250 employees have now attended the two-day course in German, French or English – and 95% of participants have taken and passed the optional buildingSMART online exam.

Gruner will also be offering this successful course to customers and partners from 2024. An attractive package has been put together for groups of five to ten people. This allows the course to be designed in a playful and interactive way. The training participants also benefit from the practical experience that a leading planning office can offer. The course is aimed at practitioners at all levels of BIM expertise.

The course is currently planned for four dates in 2024, three times in German and once in French. For larger groups or other dates, you are welcome to contact Gruner at any time. The course is based on the internationally recognized "buildingSMART Professional Certification Program" and provides insights into national and international standards and guidelines (SIA, ISO19650, openBIM standards). Relevant BIM terminology, documents such as the Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), BIM roles and responsibilities and the Common Data Environment (CDE) are discussed. The course can be completed with an optional exam to obtain an internationally recognized certificate from buildingSMART.

The BIM Methodology Training – Foundation aims to provide a common understanding and fundamental knowledge of the BIM methodology. We look forward to welcoming you to the training course!
