Installation of Platform HUG, Malters

In the HUG production facility in Malters, a new platform for a production line was installed. The platform was built as a steel structure and suspended from the roof slab to keep the floor space free.

Key tasks included the assessment of the existing structure’s load-bearing capacity and the planning and execution of the works while operations continued. The main challenge was to carry out the construction during production without disrupting processes.

In addition to the steel structure, Gruner also provided technical site management, ensuring safe, precise and on-time execution. This project in Malters is a strong example of the combination of engineering, refurbishment in existing structures and construction during operations.
