Fire protection
The Ambassador House on Thurgauerstrasse in Opfikon is one of the largest buildings in Switzerland with approx. 130,000m2 of floor space. Built as a hotel at the end of the 1980s, it was deconstructed down to the supporting structure and transformed into an office building.
In the completely refurbished office building, everything is a bit bigger than elsewhere: the largest contiguous office space at floor level (approx. 43,000 m2 of office rental space); the most comprehensive service offering with concierge; the most efficient space offerings; with 1,099 covered car parking spaces, the largest parking supply per m2 of office space in the Zurich region; and the largest coworking offering.
