Office tower of Roche Diagnostics AG in Rotkreuz

Roche Diagnostics AG is constructing a central administration building with a 67 meter high office tower on its company premises in Rotkreuz ZG. The architecture was designed by Burckhardt+Partner AG, Basel, the winner of a restricted competition. Roche Diagnostics places the highest demands on the energy concept in conjunction with the building envelope and the quality of use: a high degree of optimization is required for the building's energy requirements and CO2 balance. For this reason, and to ensure a high level of planning reliability, the client commissioned Gruner AG to examine the quality of the planned, striking all-glass façade in terms of energy and comfort.
