Jean-Christophe Girard appointed Head of Business Unit Energy and Infrastructure France

As of 1 May 2026, Jean-Christophe Girard takes over as Head of the Head of Business Unit Energy and Infrastructure France, strengthening Gruner’s presence and engineering capabilities in the French hydropower and infrastructure market.

“With Jean-Christophe Girard, we are strengthening our leadership in a strategically important market. He will play a key role in further expanding our presence in France”, says Sergio Camilletti, Head of Energy and Member of the Executive Board.

Jean-Christophe Girard is a senior hydropower and dam engineering professional with almost 20 years of international experience in the delivery of complex water and energy infrastructure projects. “I am looking forward to further developing our activities together with the team in Paris and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our clients,” says Jean-Christophe Girard. Having been with Gruner for over two years, he has already played a key role in delivering complex projects and advancing our capabilities in this sector.
