Gruner Named "Top Company 2026"

Gruner has been awarded the “Top Company 2026” title for the first time on the employer review platform kununu. The award is based on independent reviews from employees.

Gruner is among the companies with the best working environment in Switzerland. This is the conclusion reached by kununu, one of the leading platforms for employer reviews in the German-speaking region.

The kununu Top Company Seal 2026 is the result of the initiatives and measures that Gruner has consistently implemented in recent years, says Monica Schneider, Member of the Executive Board and Head of Human Resources at Gruner. “We are very pleased to receive this award. It underlines our ambition to be among the leading employers in our industry and motivates us to continue on this path with conviction.”

“Only five percent of companies qualify for the Top Company seal”

The award sends a positive signal—both as a showcase for potential applicants and as a reflection of the company culture internally, for employees, says Nina Zimmermann, CEO of kununu: “We congratulate Gruner on qualifying as a Top Company 2026 for the first time,” says Zimmermann. “Only five percent of companies qualify for this special seal.”

According to kununu, 71 percent of the companies that received the seal reported an increase in applications. A total of 81 percent also consider the award an important part of their employer branding strategy.

To qualify for the kununu Top Company Seal 2026, a company must meet the following criteria:

  • At least seven employee reviews since the profile was created. Reviews from applicants are not counted.
  • A score of at least 3.8 stars (out of a maximum of 5), both overall and in employee reviews.
  • Over the past twelve months, the employee rating must be at least 3.8 stars.
  • At least two new reviews in the last twelve months. An updated review also counts as a new review.

Award-winning employers receive positive feedback during the recruitment process

The award also has an impact on recruiting: a survey* conducted by kununu among companies that were recognized as Top Companies in the previous seal season found that 80 percent of the surveyed employers received positive feedback on the Top Company seal during the application process. 81 percent would recommend pursuing the qualification.
