Gruner Innovation Award 2023 ceremony

On Friday, September 29, 2023, the graduates of the School of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geomatics of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland were graduated. The annual Gruner Innovation Award of the Institute of Civil Engineering, endowed with 500 Swiss francs, was also presented at this ceremony. The prize is awarded to the most innovative bachelor thesis.

This year's winner is Mr. David Castro Suoto with his thesis "New car storage Leimgrubenweg". The Innovation Award was presented to him by Michael Schumacher, Head of the Structural Engineering Department of Gruner AG, at the graduation ceremony on September 29, 2023.

The diploma ceremony was held in the auditorium of the FHNW Campus in Muttenz. The diplomas and prizes were handed over by the responsible persons of the institutes and study programs as well as the partners from the practice. At the following get-together, the graduates could celebrate their success together and let the evening come to an appropriate end.
