Noise control and vibration control

Gruner offers comprehensive services in the fields of noise protection and vibration control. We always consider all possible sources of emissions. These include construction work, blasting, railways, air and road traffic, as well as industrial and commercial emissions.

As part of a building application, it must be assessed whether the project is likely to result in a significant increase in noise emissions and the associated immissions. This applies to both the construction phase and the operational phase.

During the approval phase, we advise the client and define specific noise protection measures. A noise protection certificate must be submitted for the project if noise-sensitive uses are affected. For this purpose, the exposure from the various noise sources is modelled using CadnaA software and compared with the legal requirements.

During the construction phase, annoying construction noise emissions can occur, especially in residential areas. Before construction begins, we define appropriate measures from the construction noise guideline catalogue in consultation with the project team (construction noise concept) and monitor the construction work as part of our construction noise monitoring service.

Various modern simulation, measurement and calculation methods help to define, optimise and monitor noise and vibration reduction measures. With our networked Gruner monitoring system, measurement data and long-term monitoring can also be displayed on the Internet and alarms can be triggered when predefined conditions are met. We ensure seamless monitoring.
