Within the framework of the Enguri Hydrology Initiative project, a 3-day working meeting was organized by JSC "Georgian Energy Development Fund". In the Project are actively participating the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, State Electricity System of Georgia, Enguri Power Plant LLC, Energy Exchange, National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission of Georgia, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, National Environment Agency, HPPs operating in the Enguri Basin, as well as the EBRD and representatives of other private and public entities.
On October the 24th 2022, the Nurek Hydropower Rehabilitation Project reached an important milestone during Phase I of the project. The first of three units to be rehabilitated during this phase was put into operation on by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon during an official ceremony.

On Friday, October 1, the institute and course directors of the School of Architecture, Civil and Geomatic Engineering FHNW graduated their former students. The Gruner Innovation Award, endowed with CHF 500, is presented annually to graduates of the Institute of Civil Engineering at the FHNW.
The award is given to the most innovative bachelor thesis.
