River remediation works in Montpreveyres
Renaturation of the Rochette stream and its two tributaries
Between September and December 2022, work was carried out on the development of the Rochette stream and its two tributaries in order to reduce the risk of flooding in the commune of Montpreveyres.
The uncovering of a tributary of the Rochette stream over a hundred meters will reduce the risk of flooding and improve the ecological quality of the tributary through the implementation of natural and landscaped facilities (vegetation on the banks, structures for small fauna...).
The installation of a flood control structure and floatation harrows upstream of the pipes are also part of the main measures carried out.
Gruner developed the whole project from the analysis of variants to the execution, in collaboration with the office Prona Romandie SA for the nature/landscape aspects and the pedological follow-up.
