Installation of steam turbine system
Novartis Werk Schweizerhalle (WSH)
Installation of steam turbine system (4.9 MW) in steam distribution network. The turbine is fed by three steam boilers (two waste/solvent incinerators, one oil-fired boiler). Integration of generator into medium-voltage network at WSH both as single power source and as secondary power source feeding into grid. The project also included refurbishment of the building’s steam distribution and seismic safety systems.
