Retention basin fire
As part of the Langete flood protection project, the Brand retention basin was built above the Rohrbach settlement area. The following elements were part of the flood protection project: retention basin (volume 120,000 m3), concrete barrier as final structure (length 44m, max. height 10m), throttle outlet, emergency outlet and stilling basin with counter sill and upstream alluvial rake made of steel, lateral earth dam, ecological upgrading of the channel above the barrier by a structured log set and deadwood installation.
